Coming Up In February 2024 Art Club
Hey Amazing Artist,
Are you ready for a peek into what is coming up in Art Club for this month? So I have lots of things planned to get you arting in Feb. We will, as always, kick the new month off with a bit of creative play in the Welcome video on the 1st (today!), which is open to all paid Art Club Members. Then get ready for a month of inspirations starting with our first project in Journal Club.
Journal Club
This month I thought we could build on the Welcome project from January and use doodles and layers to explore another animal, this time a fox.
It is stylised again but in a different way to the January Welcome Hare/ Bunny. So a great project for if you are looking for ideas for your focal images and stylising them to fit your character and what you want to express in your work.
The Journal Clubbies tier, all the three Studio Clubbies tiers and the Video-Fanatics founder members have access to this video when it is posted in the first week of February.

In The Studio
Then we have two ‘In The Studio’ projects coming up for anyone on one of the three Studio Clubbies tier, or on the Video-Fantastic founder members tier.
The first ‘In The Studio’ is a process video taking you through doodles, paint layers and resolving into a focal image piece. A flower for this one. And using all of the rich layers to add interest to the page. This is a real mixing of materials and exploring how they work together process. I’ve used a mix of coloured pencils, acrylic paint, gouache, but of course you can bring to it whatever materials you have.
Then for the second ‘In The Studio’ video for February, I have a great creative exercise focusing on pattern from idea generating to layering. This is a great one for building out your pattern idea catalogue and for learning how you like to use them in a piece. And I hope that you have fun with it!

February 2024 Art Pack Download
Of course the February Digi-Delightfuls art pack will be out in the first week for you to download, if you are on the Studio Clubbies or Studio PLUS Clubbies tiers, as well as for the two founder member tiers. That will be up on the 3rd so don’t forget to download and print ready to play. I will be back at the end of the month with the what I used it for!
I’ve gone for a blue, brown and yellow colourway this month and you will find some shells, flowers, a hare in the pack too.
This month to say thank you for being here and to celebrate the new art year I actually have four pages for you to play with in the download. So the download is available on all the download tiers which are: Studio and Studio PLUS Clubbies, Video-Fanatics and Digi-Delightfuls.
There are florals and abstract elements, a background and a page to colour how you like! And I can’t wait to see what you do with it.
