Do you want to free up your art? The thing that I love about running an art club is the opportunity it gives me to help you to art more and to free up the art that you do.
I think so many of us get stuck in that place where we worry about getting things wrong, we have no idea if we are even using the materials the way they are meant to be used, let alone working out how to go from just splashing paint around to splashing paint around to get the art we want to make out of us.
I know this ‘coz I have been there! This was me, this is all of us as we start out as artists, right? Then add in that whole mind-numbing ‘Can I even call myself an artist?’ malarkey and yep! There you go. That is me when I first started arting.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I still splash paint around, all over the place in fact! But now I know why I do it, and I know what I want to get from it. And more importantly I know how I am going to get there, how I can navigate all the different art possibilities to get the art that is in my head out of my head and into real life, the way I want it to look.
And I have come to realise that art is all about building skills, learning techniques, building confidence, working out what materials work for you and working out how to actually art when your fear tries to get in your way. It’s not just about making things that are pretty, there is a lot more to it.
It’s about learning about yourself and finding, and building, your process and practice over time and that is what I want to help you to do more of in my Art Club.
To make room to broaden my current art club scope, so that we can work on our art practice, process and voice, I am retiring the current tiers, as they are far too focused on type of content rather than our art practice. So from the 1st June 2022, I will be setting up a new tier structure and pricing and refocusing the club.
I am bringing in new tiers and new pricing but anyone in my art club right now will get to stay on their tier, at the price it is now for as long as they are actively subscribed! Yay!
And if you want to improve your art, then the Video-Fanatics tier is by far the best value, because this tier is evolving into my Studio Clubbies Tier where we will delve into materials, find what we love to do, explore our process and practice and I will be:
- Breaking down my process, showing successes and failures
- Giving you exercises to build your confidence
- Simplifying what works to keep you playing and growing as an artist
And helping you to explore, to free up your art and find your art YOU!
