If you have been having some patchy days where you just can not create then try doing something like this easy acrylic paint background. I found it really helped to get me just creating.
I’ve said that the results make good backgrounds but to be honest you can use this easy acrylic paint technique to make stand alone abstracts and what comes out of it doesn’t have to be just for backgrounds. I actually added a few quick finishing touches to mine and called it a piece in its own right. But you have options with it so have fun with it!
