Coming Up In my May Patreon Art Club
Welcome to your May Patreon art club content! April saw us experimenting with abstracts and playing with florals. This month we have some bird studies, layered doodles and layered leaves to play with. So I hope you are ready for a bit of experimenting and playing with your materials and ideas!
Video-Fanatics
In this month’s art mix I am going to take you from studies to a finished piece using Peregrine Falcons as our subject. It was my April animal as suggested by one of my lovely art club members! 💖
I will share how I approached the drawing and what sort of exercises I did to help me to work out how I wanted the finished piece to look. And we will be adding more ideas to our approaches to studies from our April’s floral studies.
Then we will go a doodling with some watercolour doodles and some lovely colours and layering!
And after all that doodling we have a leafy piece where I show you how to layer up pen, paint and pencil to get an interesting mixed media leaf piece using minimal colours too, but still adding lots of interest!
Digi-Delightfuls and Video-Fanatics
Lots of doodles for you this month with some from my Daily Doodle Diary, some circle flower designs from my concertina sketchbook and a big page of abstract colour and texture to use as a background or to cut up and tear up for layers in your art journal.
I hope you have a lot of fun with it!
