Ideas For Your Art Journal: Mark Making And Paint Smushing ***VIDEO***

Art journal page in pink and blue, mark making and paint by Kim Dellow

Mark making and paint smushing is sometimes all you need to fill an art journal page! Honest! It doesn’t have to be complicated and it is a lot of fun! To show you how, and get you started with it, I am in my junk journal having a play and you can watch the whole process.

I’ve gone very mixed media with this one using acrylic paint, washi tape, pencils and pens for my mark making and paint smushing but really all you need is paint and a brush all the rest is extras!

And you know what else would work well on a page like this? A bit of doodling like we did last week!
