If you have ever found yourself struggling with complex backgrounds or perhaps you don’t have a lot of time but you NEED to art, (I know that feeling!) then today’s tip and art video inspiration is, hopefully, going to hit the spot for you! Because today I am sharing one of the quickest ways to build up a simple, colorful acrylic paint background.
You can still build up interest, texture and a colorful acrylic paint background with just a simple tool, the good old plastic card. You know the old credit card, or gift card?! This little tool definitely deserves a revisit every now and again. So I have a simple, colorful acrylic paint background and a flower sketch to share with you as part of my #KimDellowFloralJune Project.
And don’t forget that as well as the flower art on YouTube I have some creative exercises too to help you expand your mixed media flower art. (Not sure what Patreon is then )
