Happy New Year! I hope you had a really lovely festive season and are ready for some New Year Inspiration as I have some small scale art inspiration for you today that is just perfect for making into cards. I think I am also in a bit of a looking back mood too, as you will hear in the video!
If you are one of my long term blog readers then you know that I started as a card maker. Can you believe that it is around 10 years or so that I started on that route? I can’t! And now, 10 years later, I am throwing paint around and sharing the results with you all! I know! It is funny where life leads you isn’t it?
So my video today is one abstract inspiration but I actually made three cards in this session and I am sure I will be sharing the rest later on my channel and elsewhere too!

Kraft Card blanks (I had some generic card blanks but I know these papermania ones are nice too, but shop around as the prices vary widely. They are cheap here in the UK but can be expensive elsewhere!)

You can find a list of my favorite and most used art supplies here.
Meanwhile, don’t forget that I have plenty of other creative inspiration on my channel for you! And I also have the abstract art card making video that I mention in today’s video on my channel in case you missed it!
And have you seen the card making video where I used gel printing to make the card?
Have fun with your small scale abstracts today and I am looking forward to some more painty sharings with you in 2019!
