VIDEO: How To Layer Colors – Using Acrylic Inks

An art journal page by Kim Dellow using acrylic inks to layer colors with a stamped butterfly and hand drawn flower

If you have issue 182 of Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine then you might have spotted my interview and this layering colors project already?! It’s a mix of crafty and arty because I am using some stamping but I also drew a flower for it too. So it is mix and match mixed media! I talk you through my creative process for this in the video as it wasn’t one of my completely organic pieces as you will hear. I also show you how to layer colors with acrylic inks to get this lovely colorful effect.

And don’t forget to scroll on down to get a close up of the all that texture!
