Time For A Creative Expressions Altered Clothes Tag

I did a bit of clothes shopping at the weekend, not something I’m very good at or even something that I have much patience for, but I got lucky for once and found something that I liked and that fit me. It also came with a lovely distressed cardboard tag!

Yep, this is the clothes tag all altered – I just couldn’t help myself! No, I didn’t buy the clothes just to get the tag – least I don’t think I did, but I would not put it past me!

The swirly Snowman is from the Umount Let it Snow A5 Stamp Plate from Creative Expressions as is the sentiment too.

I’ve added in some kraft card, acetate and collaged book pages.

I covered the tag lightly with white paint as I wanted the print of the tag to add a bit more texture to the final piece. Then I added a bit of peach paint to match the ribbon and stamped some more texture with copper paint and the large snowflake medallion from the Heartfelt Ornamental Medallion PreCut Set, also available over at Creative Expressions.

Mr Snowman is stamped on acetate and attached to some kraft card with white paint, I think it makes him look extra snowy!

A successful bit of clothes shopping!

Have a great Tuesday.

Love the tag Kim, I love messy white paint against kraft card! It just goes so well doesn't it? I like the grungy shabbyness. Michelle x
