Have you ever wondered if your art routine is actually getting in your way and not helping you to grow your art? I don’t know if I am overthinking this but I have been having this thought recently about my art routine.
On one hand it has been so helpful. It has helped me to get art done, having a routine to just plug into and get me working. Something I can fall back on if I am finding creating hard. But on the other hand maybe it has also become my comfort zone and it is so well suited to certain types of artwork that it is stopping me from branching out and doing different things.
Does this ring a bell with you? Then maybe it is time to work out if your art routine is helping you or holding back. Recognising issues is the first step to correcting them, so I hope my video today helps you to start thinking about how your art routine works for you!
