Sweet Wishes

To you all and a super quick post for today.

A little notelet card and I’ve used the My Cute Stamp Sweet Chocolate stamp set which is available from Emily over at Make The Day Special

It kinda reminds me of the sweeties with the hearts and writing on – do you know the ones I mean?

I added a touch of watercolours with my ZIG Water colour System BrusH2O.

Well hope you have a sweet day.

Have fun.

My Cute Stamp Skinny Invites

My Make The Day Special make this week is a little different,  I thought I would try experimenting with a different format by making some little skinny invite cards. They only measure 4 cm by 10.5cm (~ 1.5 inch by 4.1 inch) so very slender indeed!

The My Cute Stamp Birthday kit is perfect for these little cards I thought.

Ok so you would have to write really small on the inside but for every one A6 sized card you can get three invites, so at least you get to invite lots of people to your party!

I’m sure there is some logic in there somewhere.

Have a fun Tuesday.

Summer Flowers

I have heard a rumour that Summer is around the corner so here is a Summer scene for you. Made using the super versatile My Cute Stamps Little Forest Friends from Make The Day Special.

I’ve paper pieced the stamps and made the leaf stamps into petals and the branch stamp into the flower stem.

Bit of sewing and Stickles to finish and there you have it, a little bit of Summer on a card πŸ™‚

Have a Summery Friday.

Cute Card Thursday – Nothing Square Here

Hello my lovelies! It is Thursday so it is Cute Card Thursday Challenge day and this week we have a fab one for you:

Anything But Square!

I’ve gone so not square that I’ve gone Stellar for you! Tee Hee! Yep, I’ve used my star nesties (which were a pressie from my wonderful OH) for this card, it does mean that the card is tiny, more of a miniature notelet really.

I’ve used my favourite monster from My Cute Stamps, which you can get from Make The Day Special with a little wobbly eye to finish the wee thing off.

I know, I know! You have seen this little Monster before here but I just love him so!

Have fun with your non-square makes.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Kim

Strawberry Cherries

Can you believe that it is Friday already? It is a quite dreary Friday, too; the sun seems to have gone and it is very overcast here in London.

Hey ho, I’m keeping summer going with this card for the Whiff of Joy Blog Hop Call. Katharina is launching some new stamps on the 25th July and she is looking for volunteers to take part in a blog hop – wahoo, what fun. You have til the 8th July to throw your name into the mix with this lovely and unusual sketch.

Details: I’ve used Willow with Strawberry Basket from the Summer 2009 kit, coloured with Copics and Promarkers and matched her up with HOTP papers. I’ve backed her with vellum and made a vellum lace border. The handmade embellishments are made from felt, jute ribbon from Quixotic Paperie and buttons. The card is finished with some hand-stitching πŸ™‚

Hope you have a lovely day and that the sun is shining where you are (unless it is night of course!).
