EDIT – 17th Jan 2012 – Thanks for clicking through if you have arrived here from Pinterest! The heart card you are interested in is viewable via this link.

*******

How about a ‘Look Back Tuesday’ post?

The reason why I thought I would do a little skip and hop down memory lane is that Emily from {Ippity} Inspiration and Make The Day Special is having an

{Ippity} Stamp Sale

This might be your last chance to get these stamps easily as Emily, who is one of the only distributor of {Ippity} in the UK, is moving on and will not be stocking this range any more.

So I thought I would show some makes where I’ve included some {Ippity} stamps just to remind you of the awesomeness of these stamps LOL!

So get a cuppa and a biccy and enjoy!

First up is this card from August 2010 using the {Ippity} What Matters Most Kit

Ooo then what about these mushrooms from one of the first stamp sets I got from Emily? They are from the {Ippity} Because Of You kit and I used them on an Alice In Wonderland Altered page in April 2010.

Then we have the fabulous bird on the fence stamp from the {Ippity} Totally Happy kit used on this card from September 2010.

I always did love the stamps from the {Ippity} Moon Beams and Heart Strings Kit, you can see the stars in this make from March 2010.

Then there was this card from March 2011 which uses the wonderful {Ippity} Gurnsey Gingham stamp as a back drop to the Unity Suzi Blu You Are Loved (not {Ippity} I’m afraid but still a must have!

This {Ippity} Gurnsey Gingham stamp is now £2.75 I mean come on! Think of the creative possibilities! I’m a bit of a Gingham junky!

Then there were the cute Fishys from {Ippity} Fishy Philosophy used here in March 2010.

The next to show is another April 2010 make and used the {Ippity} Simply Home kit with the {Ippity} Moon Beams and Heart Strings kit.

Ok one last one, I’ve got a bit carried away but just thought I would show how versatile these stamps can be with this Christmas make from 2010 using the {Ippity} Totally Happy kit which was a Summer release but I’ve given it a Winter spin with some embossing powder and turned the bird into a Robin.

Oh that was good fun! I have plenty more if you fancied to keep on browsing!

I would love to see your old (and new) {Ippity} makes, if you have some to show do link below so I can come and look!

Don’t forget to check out the stamps yourself and get them whilst you still can, all of the releases are listed by release date in the sidebar on the {Ippity} Inspiration blog.

Happy Bargain Hunting!

Where’s Your Post At?

Thursday pm and I’ve realised that my last blog post was on Monday, by now you must be wondering where my posts are? Well the week has slipped past and I’ve not managed to finish anything. You know those weeks when you are just slightly under the weather but you can’t quite put your finger on it? Well I’ve been having one of those weeks. Never mind, it will pass!

So rather than posting a make I thought I would drop by to give you some heads-ups instead. La-La Land Crafts fans out there have you seen the super cute new releases released at the CHA this week?

There are 14 gorgeous images including a Fairytale collection, a Halloween 2011 collection and a Christmas 2011 collection you can see them all on the La-La Land Crafts blog and if you hop over there now you can find out how you could win 12 Copic Sketch Markers! Yay!

Other news, the new Ippity July release stamps are available over at Ippity Inspirations, it is only a small release, well very small as there are only two stamp sets but they are both very cute!

Another heads-up for you all – Quixotic Paperie is having a Summer Sale so time to bag a bargain I reckon.

Summer Sale at www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk

Lots of yummy stamps and papers at reduced prices – you know you want them!

Well before I pop off to try and get something finished before the week completely disappears I do have a sneak peek at a work in progress, well more like a bit a play in progress.

I’ve used Kuretake ZIG Art and Graphic Twin pens to colour this piece as I wanted that vivid watercolour colour they can give. By the way don’t forget to pop on over to the new Kuretake blog to be in with a chance to win some fabulous ZIG pens!

It is one of those pieces where I just love how the background has turned out but now I think I’m spoiling it by trying to make it into something! Do you ever get that?

Hope you are all having creative weeks.

Catch you later.

Getting All {Ippity}

Get out your {Ippity}! It’s an {Ippity} day here on me blog with a bit of paint thrown in for good measure! I’ve had this simple card in my head for a little bit. It has been itching to get out and I had time yesterday to throw some paint at a card blank to see if it would work!

The stamps are from the How YOU Doin’ set from the {Ippity} Fall 2010 range and you can get them from Emily at {Ippity} Inspiration.

Have a fun day you all!

Inky For You

Been getting a bit inky with my Make The Day Special and {Ippity} Inspiration stamps this week. This make is part of a series of ideas based around an ATC I did for the Idea Gallery in the Craft Stamper recently.

I kinda liked it so thought I would explore the design a bit more and on a bigger scale!

The grass is from the Unity Insightful Meadows stamp set and the ‘For You’ sentiment is from the {Ippity}Totally Happy stamp set. The colouring used ZIG Art and Graphic Twin pens and ZIG Calligraphy pens from Kuretake.

Have a fabby inky day!

Are You Crazy About Sardine Tin Art?

I am! Ok so you guys are going to start thinking that I have some sort of Sardine Tin obsession – it is just coincidence – honest! But you got to admit it Sardine tins are perfect size for a little bit of altering into art? Don’t you think?

I’ve recycled this tin with a Spring theme and using a variety of stamps available over at Make The Day Special and Ippity Inspiration.

So all you need is an empty and cleaned sardine tin, the clouds are stamps from the Unity Adventures In Happiness (which is on sale over at the shop!) and for the flower I used the {Ippity} Gurnsey Gingham and {Ippity} A Bit Of Burlap. The colouring was all done with ZIG Art and Graphic Twin Pens from Kuretake.

So you wanna make one now don’t you? See I knew it!

I’ve entered this little guy into the Spring themed challenge over at Alter It Monthly.

I would love to see your Sardine Tin Art so don’t forget to come back and tell me about yours and I’ll come and have a look!

Happy Sardine Tin Fun.

Twinkle On A Tuesday

Lots of twinkle in my Make The Day Special makes today, they are Twinchies made from card and fabric and decorated with stamps from the {Ippity} Moon Beam and Heart String and the Unity Wishes and Kisses. I’ve called them ‘Creative Hearts and Stars’.

The background was made by layering small pieces of calico fabric onto a piece of card with Sparkle Mod Podge. Once the glue had dried the card was split in half and painted with acrylic paint.

I stamped out the background hearts and stars then highlighted the stamp work with ZIG Wink Of Stella pens from Kuretake for even more sparkle.

There you have it a nice sparkly, textured background!

Have a Twinkly Twinchies Tuesday

Yep, more Christmas cards and this one today is from {Ippity}.

You might recognise the image from the Ippity Summer 2010 release? A Summer stamp on a Christmas card?  Yep, add a bit of snow and there you have it a Summer image turned to Winter.

I do love this stamp – so versatile 🙂

Have a lovely snowy day!

They are up in my Etsy and Folksy shops along with some other cute notelets I’ve been busy with.

Art Journaling With Unity And Ippity

Hey Guys, I’ve been playing in my art journal with paints, stamps and inks and thought I would give you a peak at how it turned out. I know, I know it isn’t a card but I just can’t help myself – LOL!

I built up some textures with layers of paint, bits of newspaper and book pages. Then added the top colour with my Neocolor watercolour crayons. The stamps I used were the Stars and moons from the Ippity Moon Beams and Heart Strings kit, the sentiment from the Ippity What Matters Most kit and the grass is from the Unity Insightful Meadows kit. Yum, love these stamps!

Thanks for popping by and viewing my playing!
