Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 13

Wahoo! A make! Today we have my make for this week’s Quixotic Paperie Challenge:

Tag It!

This is a birthday card for a friend (hope she isn’t looking!).

It will probably be of no surprise to you, I’m sure, that I’ve used Basic Grey Sugar Rush for this make! The lace is also one of my favs at the moment and is from Quixotic paperie.

The image is CC Designs Swiss Miss Rosalie and I’ve coloured her with PrismaColor pencils and sansodor blending. I’ve used Stamps Away Alpha tags for the sentiment (and to meet the challenge!) and added glossy accents to the alpha then sprinkled on lots of glitter. I’ve also used glossy accents and glitter for the edge of the scalloped matt.

Before you go – just thought I would let you know that Elaine has some further reductions in the clearance section in the shop and there are some fab bargains up for grabs. She also has Shimmerz paints on special offer with 15% off.

Happy Tag Day to you!

More Chrimbo Cards

Will the Christmas cards ever end – I here you cry! Yeah I’m getting pretty desperate now – haven’t sent any cards either LOL! Every year I think I will start earlier – but I never do do I?

This set of cards uses the ultra-versatile CC Designs Cookie Crumbs Reason For The Season stamp set which I think might be one of my favourites this season.

But I reckon that you can probably get away with using this throughout the year for baby cards as well – what you reckon?

Ok my sugar plums – you all have a good day

Catch yous laters

Civil Partnership Card

I was asked to do a card for a Civil partnership ceremony. Well actually I lie – I kinda volunteered myself with a rush of excitement as I’ve not done a Civil Partnership card before. The colour for the ‘Civiling’ (the name given to the ceremony by the happy couple – I think it will catch on) is red.

It was fun doing this card and of course I had to ‘invest’ in some new stamps for it – perhaps that is why I was excited – not that I need an excuse. LOL
