I am so excited to be part of the project from Willowing Arts.
It launches today, YAY YAY YAY!
So if you haven’t heard about Art For Earth, it is an amazing collection of over 85 art products – workshops, ebooks, downloads – from over 45 mixed media artists, including some of the most popular artists and teachers in our art community. When Tam Laporte, the artist behind Willowing Arts, told me about the project, I really wanted to get involved so you will find my Scribble Owls workshop in the list of products too! It is a huge list, so you should definitely !
This enormous collection of art goodies is valued at more than £2900 but you can get it for £75 (approx. $100). I will just put the cost right up front (don’t you get tired of these webpages that make you scroll for hours before telling you how much it costs? Is that just me?).
Art For Earth is £75, even though the contents are collectively of a much higher value, to make it affordable because it is fundraising for a good cause: 25% of all sales goes to , a charity organisation whose mission is to restore ecosystems and livelihoods and help protect against climate change. Tam ran a bundle art package back in 2019 and she was able to raise over £25,000 and helped plant over 80,000 trees, which is an amazing achievement!
By buying it, you are also helping out the artists involved too because like me they are affiliates of , and for me that is because I love what Willowing Arts do, I love supporting other artists to help us all create more and as I said I really wanted to get involved with the Art For Earth project, because battling climate change is dear to me, which is why you will find one of my workshops in that list!
I don’t think art can get better than this – supporting artists AND making a positive difference to the planet! I know right?! It is like a dream come true! You get to art AND feel like you are helping your art community and the Earth too.
