VIDEO: Working To A Plan Mixed Media Art PLUS News Of Upcoming Projects

A colorful mixed media card by Kim Dellow

Sometimes I plan my art, yes I do, and I’ve talked about the power of planned art before in my videos. It can be a really useful tool to have in your creative process repertoire. So I’m chatting about it again today, because this piece is partly planned art and partly unplanned art.

But I have some other things to share with you in my planned art – unplanned art video and they are some of what is keeping me so busy at the moment! I have some heads-up about my new and exciting Patreon changes, which you can also read about on . Plus I am writing a creative exercising book/ download that you are gonna wanna be signed up to my newsletter to get your hands on when it is finished!

Anyway, you can hear more in the video whilst you watch this project evolve!

(Not sure what Patreon is then )

    Hi Kim
    I love it 🙂
Instead of putting it on a card, it would look amazing with a wide (10cm) white passepartout in a blue (the botton one) frame.
But of course, I will take the card LOL
Was upgrading my pc to win10 and of course had to install everything new. Why they always take perfectly fine working things away is beyond me.
Hopefulle the heat is gone now and the more agreeable temperatures will be stable.
Can’t wait for your e-book since you are a source of wisdom. Will it be a pdf?

      Hey Rena,

Ergh Updates! I dread them! You always have to troubleshoot them. *Sigh!
Yep, it will be a PDF so you can read it on your pc or print it out. I am looking forward to hearing what you think about it. It will be full of creative exercises, so something to dip in and out of rather than a painting course type of book. That will have to be my next challenge! 😀
Hope you are enjoying the cooler temperatures.

Tell me about it…. I do hate windows… why can’t they ever make something that is working with no problems? Why does that always have to be a new version. Would they only ask me LOL
Pdf is perfect. I know it will be full of hints and tips to learn from.
Did I say cooler weather? Well.. it is getting hot again. At least it cools down in the night so one can get some fresh air in the rooms.
        Have a lovely day 🙂
