Ok, so you are tired of hearing it, but we don’t have long to go before Christmas and I don’t know about you but I am totally behind with all my Christmas jobs! So today I have a video to help you out with some ideas for making those last minute Christmas cards and all you need is some old packaging and a few bits and bobs that you probably already have in your stash or around the house.
You won’t even need to buy any new stamps or stencils for this one! It is that last minute friendly! Grab your favourite glue, (obviously everyone has a favourite glue!) scissors, paints, packaging and some cardstock or card blanks and you are good to go! That I of course like these ideas since I am – as you know – very much for recycling stuff. And corrugated board can be used for just anything, especially mixed media. Same as brown packing paper.
The Merry Christmas card can be used for any occasion, just change the sentiment. It makes perfect men cards and would sure look in other colours equally good.
The idea how to draw a perfect circle is priceless! I can’t draw a decent one freehand even if my life depends on it LOL
You shouldn’t be sorry when you don’t answer immediately… you have a job to do and that comes first. I know a thing or two about deadlines. It is always really nice when you answer and very much appreciated.

I know, you and me are recycle-central! The Merry Christmas card is a perfect man’s card and you could, as you say, use it for so many things! Have you watched the Fine-Art Tips video that I got that tip from? It is a great way to draw a cycle, I was very pleased to find it and had to share 😀

yes, I wrote a comment somewhere in the night of Dec 7th, a rather long one LOL
But obviously it went missing, fell into the big black box.
I had also said that I saved a couple of junk stuff with not too flimsy paper, so maybe I find some time to give it a go.
The ideas of journals from galeries, museums and such is a good one, only I hardly go out because of my walking difficulties. But I will keep that in mind.
Oh yes, I certainly watched that video about how to draw a circle. Already tried it, but I have to practice a bit. But the circles so far are circles, not some wonky figures like before.
Patient? Who? Me? I am too old to be patient 😉 Don’t you worry, I don’t go anywhere and your site is always open in the browser since I am always curious with what you come up next.
