VIDEO: Try This Easy Masking Technique In Your Art Journal!

As promised here is this week’s video inspiration and just in time to get you up and running for a creative weekend! This week I’m sharing one of my favourite techniques which is a really easy masking technique using paper masks. Paper masks are wonderful, they are so simple and you can use them for so many things. Today I am using them to make an abstract page in my junk art journal using acrylic paints and paint pens.

I’ve gone for an abstract page but you can easily use this technique for a whole range of styles and looks. I’ve kept my shapes loose and rough and didn’t over think what they should look like or where they should be placed. Sometimes it is just good to go with the flow isn’t it?
