Welcome to the PaperArtsy and StencilGirl Blog Hop and Giveaway!

As an extra special seasonal treat this week the StencilGirl and PaperArtsy design teams have got together for a feast of inspiration to get your creative flow going with a blog hop running from 21st – 24th December.

Everyday for the next four days a new post will go live on four of the StencilGirl and PaperArtsy design teams blogs. Hop around the blogs and leave comments and you could win a fabulous prize too, but more on that later in my post!

First I wanted to share my PaperArtsy and StencilGirl blog hop project with you. I’m calling it ‘Feather’.

  1. This blog hop is fantastic! My two fave companies, Stencil Girl & Paper Artsy! Thanks for some great inspiration today, Kim. I have your stamps so I am off to do some Paper Artsy/Stencil Girl art myself. suzschultz23(at)aol(dot)com

  2. I really like the finished project, Kim! Circles are always a go to for me; love that circle stencil. And, your playful flower stamps look great as the focal point.

  3. Kim I love to hear you speak. As I watched your video I like the way you used paper and built up that part of your canvas with texture paste! I'd like to try using gesso as glue. I've never tried these textures before but you inspire me on. Love that your flowers grow from the feather.

  4. Wow, this came together so quickly! I like how you were able to get so much interest and texture into one piece in such a short amount of time. What a great reminder that it doesn't need to take forever to get a little art in your day. Thanks for that!

  5. Hi Kim, loved your video – especially liked how you used the feather stencil to create that fab background to stamp your square flowers onto, it looked great! Thanks for sharing xx

  6. Just beautiful it's amazing flicking through all of your blogs and seeing so many amazing styles – of which I love each and every one for different reasons! I do have a real love for antique paper and stitching in my journal so this one has really 'popped out'. Love it, thank you for the inspiration!

  7. I like the feather stencils and the chocolate pudding paints. Chocolate, feathers, blue – all favorites of mine. <3 I have not tried using a card with a stencil and will try it out. Simple, but nice art.
