As Featured On Blitsy – How to Make A Yupo Art Journal Page

I have a fun tutorial on the Blitsy blog today using the synthetic paper Yupo.

[I do use affiliate links and there are some in this blog post.]

Close up of acrylic paint on Yupo paper

In my tutorial I make a moon-themed art journal page using acrylic paint on the Yupo. I do love the effects you can get with Yupo, look at the cool texture! It is such a fun surface to play on and the paint reacts differently to the smooth synthetic paper. You don’t have to use acrylic paints it takes other materials like watercolour well too.

Ahh thanks Jennifer, I love how the fluorescent pink can still be seen though the other colours. I wasn't expecting that but it worked really well! It was all serendipity! 🙂

This looks so lovely. I've only recently come across Yupo and haven't yet had a chance to play but a friend has used alcohol inks to great effect.
