Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 25

Challenge, Challenge, Challenge! It is Quixotic Paperie Challenge Day and this week we have a fab challenge from Judy:

Let Your Garden Grow

Which is all about making your own flowers to put onto your make.

Here is my DT make for you I was inspired by Elaine’s scene cards for my make this week. I’ve used Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps from the Moonlight Whispers range available at Quixotic Paperie with Cosmo Cricket Earth Love.

I carefully singed the edges of my paper using a candle, whilst trying not to set fire to the flat. Luckily David doesn’t read my blog posts, just looks at the makes – so I reckon I got away with it – Tee hee!

The flower was made from Mulberry papers and my current favourite – a bit of book page scrap 🙂

Ahhr Jim Lad, enjoy your pirate day you scurvy lot!

Shiver me timbers, splice the mainframe – wait up isn’t that computers?

Kim

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hides some of my crafting behaviours from my parter!!! Love the singed effect. I'm amazed at what you come up with sometimes…
