One Day At A Time

This is very much how I feel at the moment, taking one day at a time, trying not to get my knickers in too much of a twist over things in the future that I can not control! So today’s make is a reflection of me – Slightly scruffy and trying to be relaxed LOL!

I’ve used the lovely sentiment and flock of butterflies (is the collective term for butterflies a flock?) from the {Ippity} What Matters Most kit and I thought that as I have used Kraft card as a base that I would enter this card into the Gingersnaps Colour Challenge GC52 which is Kraft this month.

I’ve used a light layer of Gesso on a book page, stamped and embossed the image and then inked over the top.

You might have noticed that I am pretty much obsessed with altering book pages at the moment! But then I did find this wonderful old illustrated encyclopedia in a local charity shop for 50p, perfect for my new obsession!

Have a great book page altering day.

Kim

Love the bright colour and I completely love using book pages too!

The sentiment is something that I need to learn to live by too at the moment.

And I'm pretty sure the collective name for a group of butterflies is a kaleidascope (although I'm unsure of the spelling) which is a fab name for such vibrant creatures.
