Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 4

Hey Guys, It is the fourth Quixotic Paperie Challenge and I had the honour of choosing the challenge for this week:

Tearing

One of my favourite paper techniques!

I’ve done a bit of an abstract card for my DT sample! This card is for my Grandpa’s birthday and uses the yummy Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper.

I’ve used lots of scraps of paper collaged together and then cut into the heart shape and hand-stitched using the border stitch from this tutorial here.

I’ve used a scallop border punch and more tearing and stitching for the weaved paper strips.

Hope you have a tearingly good Wednesday
Kim

Materials:
Papers – Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper
Usual Suspects – Silicone glue
Other – Kraft card; Scallop border punch; thread; PVA; needle
